• At the southern edge of Chesapeake, the 723-acre Northwest River Park campground offers sites for RV camping and primitive tent sites. Many of the RV campsites have electric hookups and water spigots. The campsites offer picnic tables and fire rings. Campground amenities include a dump station, coin-operated laundry, shower and restroom, playground and a pavilion for group gatherings. The pavilion has picnic tables and barbecue grills. Campground amenities include dump stations, storage units, paved roads on the property and an on-site gas station. The RV campsites have hookups for water and electricity.
