Housebreaking puppies can be done much faster than following the usual methods.
The key is to not only keep your dog disciplined, but yourself as well.
Puppies look to you, so set a good example and here is how to set one.
If you want to rapidly housebreak your puppy you need to start early.
Start by changing the paper in whelping box regularly to keep them dry so they are used to that.
In most cases of slow housebreaking it is due to poor initial upbringing.
A puppy that grows up in a messy environment assumes it is okay to soil, if it wasn't you would clean up.
So when ever your puppy has an accident or does go in the proper place be sure to clean it up as quickly as possible.
Also wash the area really well with ammonia to remove any smell.
Dog and most animals have a natural instinct to keep their living area clean.
So by keeping a very clean house is one way to get through to your puppy when they are young.
If you don't have access to your puppy until till after they are weaned then it will be harder to rapidly housebreaking them.
You can still try to do it but it will take more time since you could not control the condition of the whelping box.
But the same principles still apply.
Clean up any mess quickly and remove any odors, so your new dog gets the message that being clean is the only way to live in this house.
