Tuna Diet Plan - Don"t Start This Diet Not Until You Read This!

103 8
No one knows exactly how this started or who started it but the tuna diet plan has been floating around and some people have actually admitted to have done it.
Surely tuna is a good source of protein amino and fatty acids.
It is one of nature's bounties, it is good and it is safe.
The nutrients though that one can get in eating tuna alone for days will not be enough.
The body will shout for other nutrients that it will need to function efficiently.
Someone who takes on this diet will more likely end up famished if not malnourished.
Not a very healthy prospect.
Living on a tuna diet plan even for a few days, will severely restrict the body of calories that it will need.
True the body loss some weight.
The weight though that was lost will mostly be water which could return, sometimes with a vengeance once you start eating a normal meal again.
Several weight loss programs have been advertised now and then claiming weight reduction.
The point of caution, however, is when the weight loss involves the reduction of water in the body; the weight that was lost almost always is equivalent to the water that was sweated out.
Again, tuna is safe.
It is the subscribing to programs and regimens that claim fast results that is troubling.
It would always be advisable to have a well panned diet that requires a little effort and stick it out.
The tuna diet plan just would not work.
If it did, claims would already have been popular.
No Doctor or nutritionist recommend it, no one admits to have started it and no real testimony to back it up.
This is more than enough reason to find another alternative plan to dieting.
