- 1). Open your browser and visit security.symantec.com/nbrt.
- 2). Click the yellow "Download Norton Power Eraser" button on the page. Click the button a second time on the next page to start the download. Save the file on your desktop.
- 3). Double-click the installation file and click "Run." The Power Eraser installer begins.
- 4). Click "Accept" then click the "Scan" button next to the "Scan for Risks" section.
