In the present human race most of the people are fascinated towards the MNC and the candidates interested in building a career in defense services are few. The way MNC's catch the attention of people with a vast amount of money and the royalty they get has made people switch away from joining armed forces. Whenever someone join the armed forces as a cadet the training imparted to him makes an individual strong enough to face any kind of circumstances not only in combat situation but also in the regular life. The standard of living they get an age say 22 is really remarkable. You get to travel across different parts of India and sometimes to different countries all at the cost of government.

He also gets his training for further studies if he or she is interested in the leading institutes of India like IIT's, IIM's. Working in defense services and being a part of armed forces every personnel get different kinds of training. Training every candidate get makes them fit for their whole life and keep them well educated in society. There are many ways to join defense services after class 12th. If a candidate wants to join armed forces he can opt to join the NDA (National defense academy). Here a cadet can join one of the three defense services army, navy, air force as per his choice but to be a flying officer in air force candidate must clear pilot aptitude battery test. The cadet in NDA gets Bachelor in science degree but the knowledge and the outstanding training they receive is very admirable. For this an applicant needs to take NDA and naval academy exam conducted by UPSC.

If a candidate misses opportunities after class 12th then he can also apply for exam conducted by UPSC called as CDS (Combined defense service. Any graduate is eligible for CDS exam. There is direct entry (UES) option which does not require taking written exam but only the interview for engineering graduates in all three services right after completion of your engineering.
