Contact LG by e-mailing the company's support center or by phoning: 800-793-8896. Inquire about becoming an authorized or endorsed repair service provider. Ask to be sent any materials or standards set by the manufacturer. Receive and review the literature. Also inquire if you may apply to be an exclusive repair center in your area.

Get educated in cellular phone repair. While LG repair may be your flagship service, becoming familiar with the phones of other manufacturers will only help to grow your repair business. Attend a training course such as one offered by Wild PCS. These courses can be found at some community colleges, trade or tech schools, or as cellular-specific courses. Look in your local phone book for such training programs.

Form a business entity. For a small repair business with no employees, establishing a sole proprietorship or limited liability company (LLC) will suffice. If you plan to immediately hire employees, incorporate your LG cellular repair business. Use an online legal documentation service such as Legal Docs or Legal Zoom. These services are self-guiding and include filing services. Or, hire an attorney or certified public accountant to draft the documents and file them with the state.

Obtain your federal employer identification number from the IRS. Download and complete form SS-4 from the IRS's website. File it electronically and receive your EIN. Then, go to a bank and open a business checking account. You will need your incorporation filing papers and your EIN.

Lease retail space. Find a suitable location for your LG cellular repair business. Ideally, it should be in a high-traffic area such as a mall kiosk or in a restaurant district where business people often go for lunch and dinner.

Advertise your business. Distribute fliers in the parking lot at grocery stores and malls. Offer first-time customer discounts to lure people in the door. Spread the word by telling your family, friends, neighbors, church members and co-workers. Set up social networking profiles to send out announcements and update friends and followers about the latest in new refurbishments, as well as alert LG users to common problems.
