They either get killed or are in remission. It stands to reason that if a police entity was serious concerning combatting this €war,€ it might try to trail the more undefeated traffickers. However, the NYPD is more involved with making arrests and simple headlines than it's in truly lowering traffic.
An example of this comes in the type of a €buy and bust€ operation. These operations sound like specifically what they're. undercover police officers move to a €drug-prone€ location and that they proactively try to purchase drugs on the road. Once the drugs are purchased, alternative narcotics officers within the space then immediately arrest the vendor. whereas this may sound effective, it couldn't possibly be more pointless.
