So I was doing a little research today and discovered this new somewhat new somewhat old idea that there are now 13 Zodiac Signs.
Yea! I was shocked when i saw it too.
I was wondering how the hell, can you just randomly add a Zodiac sign.
After doing some research and to my dismay, honestly, I discovered that the sun in modern times moves from Scorpius through Ophiuchus (only for a few days) and then into Sagittarius.
Its most interesting that now we add a Zodiac sign many years later.
What does that do to the people who changed? I was born on Dec 12th, I am a Sagittarius by the "old" Zodiac chart.
This new chart however shows that i would be this new guy called "Ophiuchus".
What does that mean for me and my sign? Should i start looking up Ophiuchus horoscope? These are questions that are hard to answer.
What does it mean for my zodiac sign? Well it depends if you are affected or not, a lot of people are only affected if they fall at the beginner of the signs dates or what they call the cusp.
I am affected being a Sagittarius, so am in a Sag or a Ophi? I believe I am a Sag, why? Depends on what you choose to believe, through some research I have done, Ophiuchus has been around for thousands of years Astrologers just never took him into account until recent evidence surfaced.
Yea, hard to believe right! Conclusion- You can accept it, fight it, not believe it or just ignore it the fact is Ophiuchus is here to stay, whether you go by the old system or the new it might not matter.
Besides if you feel you have lived your life to according to your sign and match up perfectly, than ultimately you do belong there.
I say experiment learn about your new sign and see if you fit in somewhere else, you might! I know I'm going to do my research on my "new" Sign but I'm still proud of being a Sagittarius and at heart will always be one.
