Are you ready to wreak havoc on those nasty insects?  If you walk into your local big box mart and purchase a container of bed bug spray, the instruction on the can may not tell you how to completely kill all the bed bugs in your house.
How you spray a room is important and there is a right way and a wrong way to do it.
One of the first steps to correctly treating a room is simply to clean it up.
You need to pick up all the items on the floor and bag them in tightly sealed plastic bags.
If the items are washable, wash them in the hottest water you can use and them dry them on the highest setting on the dryer.
Other items that are not washable such as electronics need to be bagged and treated to a temperature of 120 degrees or higher.
Bed bugs cannot stand temperatures this high and it will kill them very quickly.
It is very important that you completely saturate the room in one spraying.
This will probably require more than one container of bed bug killer spray or insecticide.
You will need at least three bottles for the average room.
With this type of "carpet bombing" approach to killing bed bugs, you will need a lot of bug spray.
Don't mix different brands of insecticide when you are spraying a room.
This is a stupid way to make yourself and others you love sick and possibly counteract the effectiveness of the sprays.
Begin your treatment at the end of the room the farthest from the door.
Be sure to spray every crack, crevice, and opening in the walls.
Treat the furniture in the room as well as the bed and mattress.
Warning:  Failure to follow these simple steps will  result in your continued suffering with bed bug bites.
