Most recently there are lots of people who are interested in watching Broadway shows.
They find it very gratifying, fascinating and fantastic! As of now or as what I have been notice anyone who likes to watch any shows on musical, they would really graved for some tickets A simple ticket that would allow them to the gateway of entrance, and experience a once in a lifetime happiness.
One of the most watched and most in demand for tickets is the musical Hairspray.
This musical is about a teenage girl; Tacy, who has the passion for dancing but thinks negatively about her physical outlook.
Every after school she and her friend named Penny will hurriedly went home for they would not liked to miss a local teenage dance show, The Corny Collins Show.
An opportunity has arrived, an audition will be held in their town for that local dance show.
So she begged her mother for permission, for her to join the most prestigious show that she has ever imagined.
But everyone think that she will just be laughed at, and rejected about her size, but then her father supported her so much! And pursue her most awaited dream.
But the terrible thing about it is that she was called to detention because she had to cut classes to go to the audition! There she meets black dancer, Seaweed J.
Stubbs there she was taught to some dance steps that would really take a breath.
She uses the new dance steps at the Sophomore Hop the following day to introduce herself to Corny Collins.
Then she was discovered.
Tracy becomes the spokes-girl for the shop.
She was really the talk of the town.
Yet being popular doesn't mean that she was really happy.
On her stardom, there are antagonists who would really let her down just for their own pleasurable and selfish desires.
Honestly Protagonist will really have the happy ending.
This musical's original Broadway production opened on August 15, 2002 and won eight Tony Awards out of thirteen nominations.
It ran for over 2,500 performances and closed on January 4, 2009.
Hairspray is a musical with music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Shaiman and a book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, based on the 1988 John Waters film Hairspray.
The original Broadway production was at the Neil Simon Theatre on August 15, 2002 It was directed by Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, with set design by David Rockwell, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Kenneth Posner,sound design by Steve C.
Kennedy, and the many distinctive wigs in the show by Paul Huntley.
These are the original Broadway cast: Marissa Jaret Winokur and Harvey Fierstein in the lead roles of Tracy and Edna respectively.
The cast also featured Matthew Morrison, Laura Bell Bundy, Kerry Butler, Linda Hart, Mary Bond Davis, Corey Reynolds, Clarke Thorell, Danelle Eugenia Wilson, Jackie Hoffman, Joel Vig and Dick Latessa.
This really just proved how beautiful and worth watching this fantastic Original Broadway show.
Most especially Hairspray ticket has been available for several shows at theaters around the globe.
