Here are 5 of the small things that a lot of people do that keep them from their ultimate success in network marketing.

Are You Giving People The Option Of Saying No? Rather than giving people the choice between yes and no why not give them the choice between two different yes's.
For instance, "most people who come into the business come in for $250 but we also have a $99 option that works better for others, which one do you think would be best for you?" That sounds better than, "So do you think this is something you might want to do or do you need more time to think about it?" A stronger close will make you more money.

Are You Not Confident Enough? Confidence is important for business, dating, selling, and just about everything else.
You could be losing out on money just because you're not presenting yourself as confident enough.
So if you know that confidence is an issue for you WORK ON IT! This is something that is huge and that a lot of people ignore thinking it's not that big of a deal but it IS! If you don't know how you present yourself video tape yourself doing a pitch or ask a friend to help you out.
This is a step that is worth not skipping.

Are You Giving Up At The First "No"? As humans we are wired to hear "no" and back off.
However, sometimes you have to push past the first "no" to get to the yes.
Of course this all depends on when the "no" comes out.
If you haven't even told the prospect what your business is or how much it costs they might not really mean "no" they might just be busy and can't talk.
Or they might have a bad attitude about home based businesses or they might have some other concern.
Find out what the concern is and address it.
Never give up on the first "no" you don't want to push people but you want to make sure they have all the information before they tell you no.

Are You Letting Them Have Control? It sounds sill but when you're talking to a prospect (particularly on the phone) you have to maintain control at all times.
That doesn't mean that you do all the talking but it means that you give out the information in the order that YOU want to give it out.
You control the flow of the call.
This can be hard to do but gets easier with practice.
The more in control of the conversation the better the call will go.
If you're letting a prospect just steamroll you and take over completely you're missing out on a great conversation.

Are You Building Enough Value? Sometimes we can get so into giving people the facts that we forget to build value in what it is that we do.
A well structured pitch should be half information and half emotion.
Give them the facts but also paint a picture for them.
If they have kids talk about how they can spend more time with their kids, how they can take them on a great family vacation or describe how you can give them the gift the really want for Christmas this year.
Don't just talk about the money but talk about what the money will allow them to do.
Get to know them and find out what really matters to them and what will make them say yes.

If you're not building value you're not going to get very many yes's.
