• Try and work towards talking to them by looking at their eyes and in return make sure that they look into your eyes when trying to speak with you. Eye contact is one of the toughest challenges any autistic person needs to overcome so it is best to train them to at least make the effort to look into your eyes when trying to strike a conversation with you.
