Bathroom Uses When I was growing up the bathroom was for brushing your teeth, taking a bath and going to the toilet.
That really was the beginning and end of it.
Today the bathroom can be used for the most amazing array of events, exercises or happenings.
Are you making full use of your bathroom? Bathing Certainly the bathroom should have to do with taking a bath or a shower.
That is really one of the main purposes of the bathroom, isn't it? However, the versions of a bath these days is quite exceptional.
Of course, you can fill the tub with hot water, get in, wash and get out.
That is a bath.
But really how often is that the way we use the bath these days.
Bubble Baths More often we do other things in the bathtub.
There is the ever popular bubble bath which can be lots of fun.
The bath is overrun with bubbles which smell wonderful and have really no other function.
It is easy and fun to relax in a bubble bath, breathe the aroma of the bubbles, eventually get up, get out and take a shower to make sure you get clean.
Sea Salt Soak Another popular use of the bath is to soak in a solution which contains a fair amount of sea salt, preferably from the Dead Sea in Israel.
It seems that soaking in such a solution helps all sorts of things.
In the first instance it is so much easier to relax.
You almost immediately feel the soothing effect of the sea salt and can feel your muscles undo, your stress disappear and in general you begin to feel absolutely at peace and wonderful.
Sea Salt Soaks also have the reputation of helping circulation, curing all sorts of ailments physical and spiritual.
Whether or not you subscribe to any of this, you will have to admit, if you try it, that it is very soothing and you end up feeling wonderful.
Spa or Jacuzzi Most bathtubs these days have those things all around that make it a spa bath or a Jacuzzi.
You turn it on and it drives a force of water to wherever you place in front of it.
If you relax and let it pound you it will certainly do the same sort of thing that a massage does.
You can direct the jet of water to any specific spot you like and it does give the impression of undoing the tension or tightness there.
One word of caution.
I know people who put bubble bath crystals in the bathtub and then turn on the jets.
Not a good idea.
It can create more bubbles than you or your bathroom can comfortably deal with.
So, if you are going to have a spa or Jacuzzi make sure that you use either sea salt or just plain water for the treatment.
Conclusion As you can see this is merely a tiny bit of what you can use your bathroom for.
I hope you will at least indulge all of these and look for others for the future.
