I was looking for a good Stamford limo company the other day. You see it was my wife's birthday and I
wanted to surprise her with something really special.

I don't know about you, but I've learned over the years that a limo is a great way to make a
normal "date night" grand. My wife and I used to go on dates every week but things just started getting
dull after several weeks.

Don't get me wrong, we loved spending some time together. But we found that we were always going
to the same restaurants, at pretty much the same time, ordering the same things, etc. Just like going to
work at the same place every day, that can get a bit boring!

I started looking into a good Stamford car service because my friend said they made a huge difference
in his romantic life with his lady. Even though it is a bit more expensive than just driving your own car,
knowing that your wife appreciates you a lot more with something like this is important.

Plus, I wasn't planning on getting a Stamford limo every week! I figured about once a month would
work, starting with my wife's birthday.

To be honest, it was kind of a tough choice. There are a lot of limo services in the area that offer a
number of different things. What color did I really want? Did I want a stretch limo, a "normal" size, or
something like a stretch-Hummer service?

Let's say that wasn't confusing enough, I had to start looking at all of the different prices. Should I go
with this Stamford car service because it's the cheapest? Or would I be better off by going with this
other company that isn't the cheapest, hoping that their higher prices mean higher quality?

What about the drivers? One thing I've always been concerned about when looking into a limo service
is the quality of the driver. I'm sure most of them are great and very professional, but at the same time
part of me wonders if there are some really bad ones out there. I'd hate for my first time trying to
impress my wife with a limo to end up a wreck because the driver wasn't experienced!

Finally I figured it'd be better if I just asked around. I talked to a few coworkers and neighbors, telling
them to keep it quiet so my wife didn't find out. If she knew I was getting a Stamford car service for her
birthday, she would probably try to talk me out of it thinking it was too much money (which of course it isn't
for a nice night out).

My friend, the one who recommended I try this out in the first place, told me about one company that
I have heard the name several times. In fact out of all of the Stamford limo services I heard about, this is the
company that was named most often. I went ahead and booked them, and my wife and I had a great
time!

The Stamford limo company we used was Avery Connecticut Limousine, and now our monthly night out with that service is by
far the best night of the month.
