Orlando has been the fortunate testing grounds for the newest Darden Restaurant creation, Season's 52. The first of this chain was opened on Sand Lake Road in 2003 right on Orlando's popular Restaurant Row. The immediate popularity of Season's prompted Darden to open a second restaurant in Altamonte Springs on S.R. 436. An intriguing concept; fresh foods, healthy, innovative recipe creations and a superb wine list - and that's just the dining part of Season's.

DINING AT SEASON'S 52:

The executive chef Cifford Pleau has a gift for creating sinfully delicious meals without the guilt, as nothing on the menu is over 475 calories. Most entries are either grilled or roasted over open fires to capture intense flavors without the need for heavy sauces. It's said that you won't even find butter in the kitchen. The menu changes with every season and a little each week to entice you to return. Menu selections include: salads, fish & seafood, poultry and meats.

MENU FAVORITES:

Appetizers, a favorite at the bar include amazing flatbreads with creative toppings, fresh, flavorful edamame and Chipotle chicken skewers. Save a little room for one of the mini indulgences ... individual servings of classic desserts. These 3-4 bite deserts won't break the diet, the big flavor has you thinking you just had a slice of a luscious cake or pie.

Flavors like Key Lime Pie, Carrot Cake, Red Velvet Cake and Pecan Pie are a satisfying finale to a wonderful meal.

RESTAURANT ATMOSPHERE:

One may think a restaurant with so many awards and top honors would be stuffy and highly expensive. Not true at all…This casually sophisticated fresh grill and wine bar offers a warm adult environment filled with laughter and nightly entertainment. Most entrees are priced in the mid-teens and tempting appetizers are always in demand at the piano bar. The décor is a mixture of rich colors accented by wood and stone. One of the Orlando area's hottest restaurant lounges, Seasons 52 is known for packing it's bar area - especially on Wednesday evenings - the area's 'unofficial' social night at Season's.
