2009 has been very grueling for almost everyone. The financial crisis has hit huge portions of every country; left a hundred thousand if not millions unemployed and battling with their everyday finances; some was neck deep in debts. And it's the latter part of the year, has anybody thought how to face 2010 with a grin? I think that at the end of the dark tunnel is a spark of light to start anew. You may have caught yourself in your previous employment doing things which you actually hate or don't have the blood to do with so much enthusiasm but because it pays the bill, you go on, you continue. Then let not this be the case for your small business. Find the thing which even though you won't be paid, you will wake up in the morning doing and won't mind working till the wee hour of the night. It can be a simple hobby, the craft you adore making, turn it into a money machine. I tell you there is nothing more rewarding that being paid with what you love doing.

Sometimes passion is not backed up with the right skills thus businesses failed. Hone your talents, your skills. It's a tough world but entrepreneurship is very rewarding so when you plunged in arm yourself with the right skills and perfect it. There are various resources in the internet you could take advantage of.

Resources in small businesses may mean workforce, machineries and small business finances. But since we are talking about lack of extra funds here you may consult your local agency if you could avail federal grants for small businesses or government small business loans. If you have no collateral, get some unsecured business loans or help from private companies for vendor finance. If you are imaginative, there are small businesses which you could start with just words of mouth and usually need a small amount to come up with.
It's 2010 in the next couple of days so start with a clean slate. Move on and move forward and be financially independent in 2010!
