Goa is a coastal city located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. The entire above places are good for tourists but there is no comparison with the beaches of Goa. Goa boasts of a large number of beaches- Anjuna, Baga, Calangute, Candolim, Cansaulim, Chapora, Dona Paula, Majoida, Miramar and Vagator. The water sports of the beaches drive the tourists crazy. Windsurfing, paragliding, jet skiing, or just swimming, water sports is yet another reason why people come back to Goa again and again. The best season for enjoying these sports in Goa is from October to May when the skies here are cloudless and blue, and the waters fairly placid.

Tourists also use to avail Excursions from Goa to the nearby places as Gokarna, Kanwar, Sawantwadi and Amboli. Gokarna is 132 km from Goa and is similarly surrounded by beaches- Gokarna, Om, and Paradise. Sawantwadi is surrounded by amazing greenery and hills. Kanwar is a spot of historical significance at Goa-Karnataka border. It is marked with variety of flora and fauna. And last but not the least; Amboli is one of the hill destinations mainly for honeymooners.
