Page, Ariz., is the home of Lake Powell, the Glen Canyon Dam and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The area offers hiking, sightseeing, hunting, fishing and a variety of water sports. The RV parks in Page are located on or near the lake itself, so you can park your boat next to your RV and launch from the campsite. - The Page-Lake Powell Campground is open year-round for campers visiting Lake Powell. The site has a convenience store with fishing tackle, ice and food. The sites are shaded by trees, have full hook-ups and come with extra parking for towing vehicles and boats. There is optional cable television at each site and 50 picnic tables throughout the park. The park has an indoor pool and hot tub, a laundry facility and a public bathroom with showers and pay phones. Showers cost $4 as of 2010. The campground has a launch ramp called Antelope Point that is seven miles away. There is also a dump site that costs $4 per use. Rates in 2010 start at $27 for two people per night for a site with full hook-ups. Each additional person is $4 nightly.

Most sites can fit up to a 70-foot RV with room for one additional vehicle, and double-wide sites are available. Pull-through sites are also available. Each site has a picnic table with a fire pit or grill. The laundry facilities and showers are located in the convenience store in the park. There is a restroom in each loop of the park. Wireless Internet is available, but coverage is not guaranteed due to the remote location of the park. There is also a swimming pool and hot tub on site. Wahweap does allow pets with some breed restrictions. Rates in 2010 begin at $23 nightly, but vary with site choice.

The park is next to Defiance House Lodge, which houses a restaurant and gift shop. To check into the park, you must visit the front desk of the Defiance House. The park allows pets on a leash. The park has 24 sites, with 20 pull-through and four back-in spaces. Each site has full hook-ups with 30 amp electrical power. The sites accommodate vehicles up to 50 feet and have picnic tables and charcoal grills. There are showers and restrooms on site. Rates vary with season and site choice.
