How to Post on a Closed Section in vBulletin
- 1). Click the "Log In" link at the top right corner of the vBulletin board to log in. Enter your administrative username and password when prompted.
- 2). Navigate to the closed section. Locate the "Administrative" link and select "Post New Announcement" from the drop-down menu.
- 3). Enter the title of the announcement, and then enter your desired text. Use the BB Code controls at the top of the text field to customize your message. To enable HTML code in this message, add a check mark to the "Allow HTML" box in "Additional Options."
- 4). Select a start date and end date for the announcement. The announcement will be shown in the time span between these two dates. The announcement will expire after the end date has passed. Click "Save Changes" to post the announcement and return to the closed section.
