Nowadays, more people are participating cross country running events because these are more exciting and fun than the other running competitions. Lastly, the third type of running is road running. It is the only racing competition held over an established road. Also, it is the only event where several people, both young and old, can join. This event is characterized by a running distance of 5 kilometers or more such as in half marathons or full marathons.
