This weekend challenge is about staying on track. It’s time to take a minute to look over how you are doing on your budget and debt elimination goals. It is also a good time to see if you can increase your savings or your income so that you can reach your goals more quickly. Finally take the time to budget and plan for your vacations.

1. Budget Check Up

First take a minute to look over your budget. Have you been keeping track of your expenses on a regular basis? 3. Find Extra Money

Are you comfortable or would you like a little bit of extra money to spend on things that you want to do? The summer is a great time to look for extra opportunity to increase your income. Summer courses are often smaller at colleges, which makes it easier to complete the classes and additional training that you want. Also you may find expenses you can cut back on in order to save money or to free up some cash for your favorite summer activities.

4. Plan Your Vacation

Your last task is to budget for your vacations this summer. You can opt for a few mini vacations taken over the weekends or you can plan for a bigger trip. The key is pay cash for everything. Camping trips can cost less, and trips that include everything such as food and accommodations like a cruise may be a good option as well. Working a few extra hours a week may help you get your dream vacation some time this summer.
