    • 1). Connect the 35mm camera to your tripod so that the camera lens is facing down. Open the film door and place one of the small sides of the box against the door opening. Cut down the box to fix across the camera and tripod.

    • 2). Cut a square in the center of the box on the side attached to the camera. This should be about 1 1/2 inches by 2 inches. On the opposite end, cut a hole to the size of the light fixture's socket.

    • 3). Cover the inside of the box with aluminum foil, taping it in place with the shiny side out. Slip the light fixture socket into the hole you made earlier and screw in the enlarging light bulb so it's inside the box.

    • 4). Cut the plastic carton down to a 4 1/2 inch by 6 inch rectangle to use as a light filter. Cut two slits into opposite sides of the box about halfway of the total length. Slip the light filter through the slits and tape it in place.

    • 5). Close up the box with foil overlapping one flap to cover the seam inside. Tape the outside seam shut.
