Tree Tops Adventure, set in Snowdonia, the outdoors capital of North Wales, is a fully equipped high ropes centre letting you take the best out of what the outdoors has to offer.
Established in 2007, Tree Tops Adventure has been growing ever since and now offers a range of thrilling adventure activities as well as their high rope courses.
Driving into the Betws-y-Coed area, all we can see surrounding the wavy roads are the towering trees cascading over emerald hills and valleys.
Betws-y-Coed is in fact the gateway to Snowdonia National Park so you can expect to find other visitors enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
We decided to book on a warm weekday just to make sure that it was nice and quiet at the attraction.
When we arrived we could see the course towering over the hills and were ready to give it our best shot! We were provided with full safety equipment including a helmet and body harness and given a briefing before we climbed anything.
The safety equipment attached to a revolutionary safety system that followed the entire course and meant that not once did we have to detach from the line.
As we began the course, it was easy to let the nerves get the better of you, climbing higher and higher into the trees.
Looking down to be aware of your footing certainly didn't help either, being a bit fearful of heights; but after a few minutes, it was definitely more fun than fear and the thrill got me laughing over almost all of the obstacles.
Each one was completely different, offering zip wires, bridges, and ropes to navigate over in your own time.
The views through the forestry definitely add a special element to the tree top adventure, something we weren't quite expecting.
The kids naturally flew past the parents leaving us to follow behind.
It was a great experience, allowing us to test our nerves and challenge our abilities and we'll definitely go again.
If your children are aged four to eight, the Junior Tree Trail might be for them, they too can join in on the fun and climb over adorably named obstacles such as Grizzly Bear Crossing and Buzzard Beam.
Using the same methods as the adult beams, the children are attached using a similar harness and safety system despite not being as high off the ground.
New for 2012 was the Sky Ride; Europe's highest and first ever Giant Swing.
It will hoist up to five people over 80 ft high in the air before releasing creating a huge adrenaline rushes, speeding you through the air.
Not only that but you'll get some of the best views over the Conwy Valley.
There's no age restriction for this ride, you can take the kids on with you.
If you're feeling really adventurous you can take on the Powerfan Plummet.
This unique parachute simulator allows you to plummet around 100 ft from the tree tops, guaranteeing a feather light landing.
You'll again, be fitted with a safety harness and a helmet and receive a full safety brief before taking the leap.
Undoubtedly the views from the top are outstanding, looking over the tops of the Snowdonia trees.
It is in fact, the world's highest parachute simulator so there's only one of a kind.
Tree tops doesn't only offer tree top courses but also exciting ones on land, in water and even deep in abandoned caves.
Spend the day kayaking or abseiling off of the edge of a cliff, testing your abilities and nerves.
Being set right in the gateway to Snowdonia National Park, Tree Tops Adventure helps you make the most out of this natural environment while testing you with new experiences that guarantees a few laughs too.
