The Xbox 360 is a very popular gaming system today.
It has been out for several years now and is in direct competition with the PlayStation 3 game console.
Game consoles of today are not like they were in years past.
I have had and played many systems over the years and nothing in the past even compares to the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3 systems.
I still remember when I was little the Super Nintendo was the big boy system of the day.
I got one of those right before or just after the first PlayStation came out I think.
That was the days of 2d worlds where you either walked right or left on the screen to get through the game.
Now days you have High Definition graphics and fully 3d worlds.
All of this is great while it works.
The sad thing is if you have owned a Xbox 360 for any period of time you have probably had a error.
If you have not then you are lucky.
Basically everyone I know who has a Xbox 360 has had to send it in at least once if not several times before of the E74 error or the dreaded red ring of death.
This has been a ongoing problem on the Xbox every since it came out on the market.
They have done several updates on it since to try and fix this problem.
While it has helped consoles still get these errors all the time.
Microsoft will fix your console for you.
If it is out of warranty then you will not be happy if you have a error.
It will cost you at least 100 bucks to get your console fixed at Microsoft and then there is the wait time while they fix your console.
What Microsoft does not want you to know is that you can fix your console at home for free.
No waiting and no spending 100 bucks to fix your console.
I am going to give you a couple of tips below on how to fix your console at home.
Step 1: Restart your console a few times.
This can sometimes fix the problem you are having.
Step 2: Your console could be too warm.
This could be the cause of the error at the moment.
Unplug the power from the system and let it sit there for a hour or two and then try playing it again.
Playing for hours can really cause your console to get hot on the inside.
Make sure it is not in a hole or somewhere it can't get enough cool air.
Step 3: Unplug the hard drive and turn the console on.
If this fixed your error put the hard drive back in and restart your console.
If it did not fix your system then you will need the xbox 360 repair guide.
