When I bought my most recent motorcycle 3 years ago I was over the moon with it! My new Honda FireBlade was pretty much the best thing I had ever purchased.
It was my baby.
But after a couple of years it went from being something I thought was unbelievable to look at to a bike that I thought just looked a bit boring! My beloved FireBlade looked out of date and I was thinking about getting rid of it and buying something different.
The only problem was I still loved the ride and wasn't sure I wanted to let it go.
It turns out I don't have to get rid of it.
All it needed was some motorcycle accessories to not only make it look better than it did before but to give it real character.
To make it unique and be something that I could be truly proud of again.
I looked online at different motorcycle accessories as a possible option to inject some new life into my bike that I used to think looked so amazing.
There are so many accessories for motorcycles I was absolutely blown away at the amount available.
Every part of a motorbike can be customised and changed.
There is no limit to what you can do.
All of a sudden, not only had I found a way to make my FireBlade look awesome I had found a new hobby.
Customising my FireBlade has become an addiction and something that I enjoy.
Quite a lot of the parts that I have bought for my FireBlade are made by an Italian company called Rizoma.
Rizoma Parts & Accessories are Italian made and as you would expect have unique styling and are made to last.
They have created everything from grips to rearsets and continue to create new products every year.
They have created two styles of grips in 'Sportline' and 'Lux'.
Each are available in five different colours.
I have a set black lux grips with some gold bar end caps.
I would recommend them to anybody.
The enormous range of mirrors in different finishes and styles mean that there is plenty of choice.
Lets be honest, the mirrors bikes come with aren't exactly great most of the time and by changing your mirrors not only add some much needed style but can also improve your vision.
My Elisse Mirrors certainly do the trick and look fantastic! At the moment I am currently saving up for some rearsets.
It will be happy days when I get a set of new ones that aren't only going to enhance the look of my bike but improve my riding experience.
I don't think I'll ever get rid of my FireBlade now.
