Breast implants for a fuller bust line

Most women wish to have large and full breasts; however not everyone is naturally blessed with one. No matter if a woman wants to get a show stopper body with large breasts, or if she wants to enhance her small or unequal breasts, she usually opts to get a bigger bust line using breast implants.

These breast implants can help improve one's self-confidence and also help a woman meet her own standard of beauty. So if you are thinking of using breast implants, you will have to choose between two types of materials used in implants; saline and silicone gel.

Basically, both implants are made of silicone shells or bags filled with a mixture of saline and water in saline implants and silicone gel in silicone implants. Of the two, most women opt for silicone gel filled breast implants.

Silicone is more human-like

The reason for this is that silicone gel implants feel more real to the touch as silicone gel is thick and honey-like and feels like human fat. On the contrary, saline implants which are filled with water and saline are more water filled.

As silicone is non-reactive and non-toxic, they are a safer option for breast implants. In case the implants start leaking, the gel that leaks out is not harmful to the body. However if saline implants leak, the saline water gets absorbed by the body. In case of silicone gel, it does not get absorbed by the body and has to be removed surgically.

Be ready for re-surgery

Basically, no matter which breast implants you choose to use, once you use them, you have to be ready to undergo re-surgery later on. This is because no manufacturer of breast implants can give a guarantee that it will not leak. So if any problems arise with the leakage of the breast implants in the future, you will have to be ready to enter re-surgery.

If you are planning of getting breast implants for fuller breasts, it is better to do so only after extensive research. You have to not only find out all you can about different breast implants, but also consult your plastic surgeon to find out what options you have for yourself.
