1. First thing to do is to learn how to write. I wouldn't lie about it; learning how to write your articles will take some time and effort. It's important that you're determined. Start by reading articles (just like this one), ebooks, and other online resources that offer article writing tips and useful guides. Then, read those articles that were written by expert online article writers. Lastly, attend writing seminars and training programs. If you put your heart and mind into it, you'll be able to develop high level writing skills in a month's time.

2. Know your audience. There is no way that you'll be able to make your articles targeted without knowing the people that you're writing for. So, I suggest that you reach out to your target audience and get to know the things that interest them. Write your articles base on their preferences and always look at things from their perspective. This is the secret to easily get through to them and later on, get the kind of response you need from these people.

3. Always use killer titles. "I want to read that article!" This is the kind of reaction that you would like to get from online users the moment they see your article's title on search engine listings. This is the key to boost your open rate. Learn the ropes of writing highly effective titles. Ensure that they will sound enticing, benefit-driven, descriptive, and downright enticing.

4. Spill out the juiciest information on your first paragraph. Here's the truth; your readers will gauge the quality of your articles based on your first paragraph. If these people did not find anything interesting on this part, they'll close your articles in a heartbeat and move to the next one. This could spell disaster for you as this will mean losing your chance of winning their business. So, don't ever save the best information for last. Hook your readers in by making your first couple of sentences as powerful as possible.

5. Keep it simple. Using high fallutin words is one of the biggest mistakes that you can do when writing articles for online users. Although there are a lot of people out there who have wide range of vocabulary, there are those that will struggle in understanding terms that they haven't heard of before. To avoid alienating or worst, annoying your readers, communicate your ideas using "normal" words or those that you'll use on your everyday conversations.

6. Make it informative. All parts of your articles should be useful. Every paragraph must contain useful and valuable information and not fluffs or fillers. You would want your audience looking at you thinking that you're a great source of information. This is the best and fastest way to earn their trust.

7. Spill the beans. Give your readers valuable takeaways each time you write an article. Spill in secrets and insider tips. Loading your articles with in-depth, solid, and useful information will surely help you easily set them apart from the rest.
