• You can turn yourself into MacGruber using items you probably have lying around your home. Find a flannel shirt and tan-colored snow or fishing vest. Throw on a pair of jeans, a brown belt and a pair of work boots.

• MacGruber is known for his mullet-style, feathery hair inspired by early 1980s fashion trends. Achieve the MacGruber hairstyle by purchasing a cheap a blonde or light brown mullet-style wig. Use a brown or tan eyeliner pencil to add beard stubble to your face or if you feel really motivated, grow a stubbly beard to complete the look.
  
  

Accessories

• Customize your costume with a can or bottle of Pepsi, which MacGruber is often seen drinking. Carry maintenance items like an extension cord over your shoulder and a tool belt or fanny pack around your waist. Attach a battery-powered alarm clock to your chest with duct tape. Rig colored wires coming in and out of the clock to make it look as though you have a bomb strapped to your chest that you -- as MacGruber -- have to deactivate.

• MacGruber is often seen on Saturday Night Live sketches with a female assistant, Vicki, played by actress Kristen Wiig. You and your spouse or significant other can dress as MacGruber and Vicki, dressing alike in matching flannel shirts and jeans with tan or khaki-colored vests, work boots and tool belts. Matching blonde mullet-style wigs complete the look. This look parodies a scene from the MacGruber movie in which Vicki has to dress exactly like MacGruber to act as his decoy.
