  • 1). Place one skill point in Berserk, five points in Iron Fist, five points in Endless Rage, five points in Sting Like a Bee, five points in Heavy Handed, five points in Short Fuse, five points in Blood Sport, five points in Hardened, five points in Safeguard, five points in Bash, five points in Juggernaut and three points in Pay Back. Once you reach level five, you gain a skill point every time you level up. These points can be placed into skills through the menu. Putting multiple points in the same skill increases the effects. These skills use all 54 skill points that you gain from reaching the level cap of 58 without any downloadable content (DLC) installed. In addition to raising Brick's melee damage and resistance to damage, this skill selection reduces the cooldown and increases the duration of Berserk so that you can activate it again almost as soon as the effect fades away.

  • 2). Place two more points into Pay Back, five points into Prize Fighter, five points into Unbreakable and three points into Die Hard. These skills use up the remaining 15 skill points added in the DLCs through the level cap increase to 69 and the bonus skill points earned through quests.

  • 3). Activate Berserk when you enter combat. Keep reactivating the skill every time the ability refreshes and can be used again. This skill increases the damage resistance and health regeneration for Brick and allows him to charge through enemy gunfire and enter melee range, which would otherwise be difficult in "Borderlands." Initially, Berserk lasts 18 seconds and has a cooldown of 60 seconds. When upgraded through the skill selection in Step 1, it lasts 27 seconds and has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
