You know that Affiliate Marketing is said to be the easiest and most effective way to make money on the Web Right! Now it's not like you just pick a product to promote and it starts making you money.
You do need to do some work so, it isn't as easy as they say it is.
The Merchant, whose program or product you choose to promote, needs to provide as part of his or her system some very important tools, in order to successfully market his or her product or service.
Lets look at just one in thisarticle to start with.
The Merchant Website.
Having your own website is the number one must have.
After all your Website, which we will call the Merchant Site from now on, is where your Affiliates will be sending Customers to purchase your product or join your membership site or, subscribe to your Services etc.
Your Merchant Site must do 4 things to the reader.
It must say, (i) - Look At What I've Got! (it must be easy to use, appealing and easy on the eye, it must be enticing and interesting) (ii) - This is what it will do for YOU! (it must solve an issue for the reader more so, than any other site they've seen so far) (iii) - This is what you Must Do NOW! (it must prompt your reader to purchase today, right now or they'll miss out) (iv) - I must Promote This Now! (it must be so empowering that your reader will not leave the site until they've bought the the product or service and or, signed up as an affiliate) It must excite the customer so much so that they are impelled, with a feeling that they must be the first to let friends and family know what they've discovered on your Sites.
Presentation, Color and the Layout of your Merchant site is very important.
You must do some research into your niche market before deciding on your product or service and, how your site must look in order to appeal to your intended market.
There are many search enginesthat you can use to search out what people are looking for every day.
Just type a product or service in Google, Yahoo or your favorite search engine.
If you can't think of anything then type niche and press enter.
The Internet, is in my simple view, an E-cyclopedia where your Web page or Web Site represents a chapter in the hundreds of millions or, is it billions of chapters in this E-cyclopedia.
So to speak.
It must be the chapter the reader will remember as being the most informative.
It must give the reader exactly what they are looking for, be it information, reference or, the best solution to their problem.
You want the reader to, at the very least "Bookmark" your site.
The content of your site, is in my view, the most important factor.
People surf for information.
They are not always looking for something to buy.
So, it would be safe to say that the words you use in your site must be, relevant and extremely useful to your market.
Original content will build traffic with no effort on your part.
It builds your credibility, readers must say to themselves after looking at your site, "yep, I trust this person".
Bookmark it! They will then pass your name to others as someone they can trust.
Your reputation as a Trustworthy, Honest and Knowledgeable person on the Internet, builds your customer base with little effort.
So, always ensure that as an Internet Marketer, your Integrity will hold up to any scrutiny.
