Kodiak Jack's

• Located on Gaffner Road in Fairbanks, Kodiak Jack's prides itself on having the world's northernmost mechanical rodeo bull. Kodiak Jack's is open from 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The music is modern country and classic rock played on a digital video production system that can be viewed on any of the 18 TV screens located inside Kodiak Jack's. The club is also home to Big Al's Pizza which serves Chicago stuffed pizzas, salads, ribs and desserts into the small hours.
  
  

Silver Spur Night Club

• On the Old Richardson Highway in Fairbanks, Silver Spur Night Club specializes in modern country music and claims to have the largest dance floor in Fairbanks. Every Tuesday and Wednesday night is karaoke night at the Silver Spur and there are line-dancing classes on Wednesday and Fridays. A live band plays on Friday and Saturday nights and takes country requests all night long. The Silver Spur also has pool tables, dart boards and a "grub shack" to get food from. Anyone who attends the Silver Spur celebrating their birthday gets a free T-shirt.
  
  

The Marlin

• The Marlin, which describes itself as the "bohemian bar of the stars," is in the heart of Fairbanks on College Road. The club hosts open mic sessions every Wednesday night and puts on live bands on Fridays and Saturdays. Its opening hours are 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Monday to Thursday and 4:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Sunday. The Marlin is a basement bar located underneath a youth hostel. The front room plays rock music and the back room has a smoking area, foosball tables and a hot dog stand.
  
  

Frontier Club

• The Frontier Club is located on Old Richardson Highway in Fairbanks, just opposite Fort Wainwright. On Wednesday evenings the Frontier Club has its own jam night, while on Thursdays it features dance music of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Friday nights are dedicated to modern rock music while Saturdays are a karaoke evening. On Sundays and Mondays during football season, the Frontier is open during games and serves free hors d'oeuvres. The Frontier Club is also available for private parties, private events and business meetings.
