How to Permanently Stop Avast! From Starting Up
- 1). Click "Start," type "msconfig" (without quotes) into the search field and press "Enter" to open the System Configuration window.
- 2). Click the Startup tab in the System Configuration window.
- 3). Uncheck the box next to Avast!
- 4). Click "Apply" and then "OK."
- 5). Restart your computer. Avast! will no longer run at start-up.
