How to Redeem Proirity Points
- 1). Tabulate all of your reward points to see your total. Usually, the company will have a portal on its website where you can find this information. At the very least, it should be on a recent billing statement.
- 2). Examine which rewards you can receive based on your amount of points. Budget whether you want to use the points now or for some future reward. Another reward may cost more points or you may want to leave a cushion of reward points for emergencies.
- 3). Visit the company's portal and click "Redeem Rewards." A new page will appear with the different options for redeeming rewards and your total number. This page will be similar to other purchase order pages except your currency is points instead of dollars. Some companies do not have a "Redeem Rewards" page and have the option at the end of a purchase order. For example, many airlines will have a "Pay with Credit Card" or "Pay with Priority Points" option.
- 4). Click on the "Pay with Priority Points" option on the website. The firm usually requires you to reenter your priority number and your password. Have this information on hand for the purchase. You can complete the purchase as normal, but without using cash.
