    • The 1963 Impala with the four-barrel carburetor, GM 327-cubic-inch engine produces 250 horsepower at 4,400 rpm, with 350 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,800 rpm. With a 10.5:1 compression ratio, its brake mean effective pressure is 161.5 pounds per square inch. The overhead valve motor has two valves per cylinder, and gas was fed from a 20-gallon tank.

    Chassis, Dimensions

    • The rear-wheel drive 1963 Impala had the option of a three or four-speed manual transmission or a Powerglide automatic.
