How to Configure DS to Use WiFi
- 1). Insert your game cartridge into the DS and turn on the system.
- 2). Access the "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings" menu. The method of getting to this point differs from game to game, so please consult the instruction booklet that came with the game to find out how to access this menu for your specific game.
- 3). Click the "Search for an Access Point" option. The DS will scan for any nearby wireless signals and display them on your screen. Signals represented by a blue padlock are "open" signals and can be connected to freely. Red padlocks are "secured" networks that require a passcode to access. Gray padlocks represent networks that are incompatible with your DS's wireless configuration.
- 4). Choose the network you wish to connect to and click "OK." If the network is secured, you will need to enter the network passcode before the DS can connect.
