Video: "I Have Sex!"

Recent studies have shown that American college students learn little if anything in their first two years and precious little in their next two. Those studies aren't entirely correct. College students learn a great deal but most of what they learn is irrelevant to their future careers.

Whether parents will do anything about what their sweet cherubs are up to in academia is questionable and whether, if they tried, they would have any effect is disputable. Hint: The kids aren't studying for a test in Human Anatomy 101; it's closer to exploring human anatomy. And parental influence is nil.

A video posted by IOwntheWorld.com will not be reassuring to parents who send their kids off to colleges in the hope and expectation that said kids will get an education of sufficient quality to guide them through the shoals and vicissitudes of adulthood and the real world but the videos do provide a wakeup call for parents.

It features male and female college students proudly displaying homemade signs and declaring, "I Have Sex," "My Friends Have Sex," "I Use Birth Control," etc. Then comes the true purpose of the video-not to advertise what kids are doing in their spare time but to serve as college lobbyists for Planned Parenthood of America.

That video is chilling, not as much for featuring college students proudly exhibiting signs proclaiming, "I Have Sex" and "I Use Birth Control," which exhibitions are their right and privilege. However, what they also are doing is advertising and promoting Planned Parenthood and its abortion mills as if Margaret Sanger's creation were a viable option when they have sex and don't use birth control.

The student video declarations are followed by sales pitches for PPOA, with musical accompaniment, announcing that not only do the collegians have sex but that they also vote "for people who treat us as adults," that they want to get educated, stay safe, "and plan for our own futures." That revelation is followed by informative messages that "Planned Parenthood Costs 75 million, Tax Breaks for Oil Corporations Cost 2.5 BILLION... Stand Up, Tell Your Family,... Cut Corporate Entitlements, Save Planned Parenthood, And Protect Our Freedom to Choose Our Own Future."

The video doesn't make clear whether the students attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut or one of the various state Wesleyan colleges but that is largely irrelevant. Ostensibly produced by "Wesleyan Uncut," it demonstrates that students at Wesleyan aren't quite in synch with their school's goals.

Those goals include, "excellence of its academic and co-curricular programs... classroom studies, research projects, and co-curricular interests in ways that are demanding and intensely rewarding... [and] productive and innovative work that makes a positive difference in the world."

Their "studies" may or not incorporate projects and interests that are "intensely rewarding" but as to making "a positive difference in the world," that would be contingent on the definition of "positive."

Wesleyanites seem committed young people. Their commitment, however, isn't nearly as much to productivity, innovation, and making differences in the world as it is to their freedom to copulate and to campaign against Republican efforts to defund America's primary abortion provider, the misnomered Planned Parenthood.

For student edification, PPOA doesn't "cost" taxpayers $75 million but rather $363.2 million and its goal is not protecting their freedom and futures as much as it is raking in profits from the hundreds of thousands of abortions annually which clearly deprives those innocents of both their freedom and futures.

In effect, the gullible students are being used as props, as dupes for PPOA during a time of that organization's many scandals involving, among other crimes, facilitating child prostitution. See "Abortion: Legalized Genocide."

The good news is that the video and all the other concerted efforts by PPOA to preserve its dole from the American public are failing. The battle has yet to be concluded but the Republican House of Representatives has pulled the rug on its funding. The bad news, for parents, is that not only are many of their college kids acting like bunnies but now they're also functioning as shills for abortionists.
