Get More From Your Social Marketing

It is no secret online marketing has grown to encompass more than the written word.
Social marketing is now the big attraction factor of marketing your website.
No longer can you put up a site and concentrate only on search engine marketing to generate the traffic you need to prosper online.
Granted the written content of your site must offer value and viable information to the browser, but to get the browser to visit your site now requires more than just marketing written content only.
Social marketing allows you to tap into a much larger percentage of online visitors.
Let's face it; people are drawn to short video clips, and audio tapes.
These clips and tape must be designed to pull the viewer to the action page of your site or at the very least to visit your site for more information.
If you're considering implementing these social marketing aspects into your business, make sure you handle the content carefully.
Just as the written copy must motivate and inspire action, so must the scripts of your social marketing campaigns.
Just as for written copy, you must identify the emotion "hot" button of your prospect and hit it with your videos/audios.
One good way to accomplish the task is to make sure you pre-write the script or have an experienced copywriter create it for you.
Of course using a pre-written script is a bit more involved than using a web cam and shooting the clip off the cuff.
The time spent in carefully strategizing your clips with "talks" that are pre-written will reward you with higher click throughs, higher conversions, and thus more cash.
Here are a few tips for evaluating your script.
1) Does it use the AIDA (attract, interest, desire, action) methods? Yes, these may seem like old-school tactics, but let's face it the psychology of the human mind hasn't changed with technology.
You must still attract their attention, maintain their interest, meet their desires, and call for action.
2) Does the script flow with the screen shots, or the video? Make sure the two flow seamlessly.
Don't have one or the other uncoordinated.
3) Do you give clear instructions on the next step to take? Make sure to comment on what the viewer should do next.
Don't just mention a URL and hope they go there.
Tell the viewer what to do specifically.
Follow these steps, to make sure your social marketing gets the results you want, more traffic, more conversions, and more cash.
