Do you feel picked on? Teased? Do you wonder why you are always the victim? Or perceived as a jerk? By making a few changes, you could end the undesirable attention that you seem to always receive.
First, I want you to say the first things that comes to mind, when you read:
Why Do They Always ____________ me?
Can you fill in the blank? Why do they always pick on me? Why do they always look uncomfortable around me? Why do they always talk down to me? Why do they always hassle me? If you find yourself asking any of the above questions, it's time to examine the way you look.
In fact, it might be a great idea to ask someone wiser than you to help you answer the above question.
FInd someone who is a good judge of character.
And ask ...
"When you look at me, what do you see that would make people always ___________________ me?"
Listen carefully to the answer.
That's your starting point.
Also be sure to examine the way you talk, and the way you project your personality.
Gestures too.
Does the Idea of Change Make You Uncomfortable? We could cover volumes about how you don't care what people think, how they should accept you for who you are, they shouldn't judge so superficially, and so on.
The simple fact is that some people would never get picked on again, if they made just a few small changes.
The ninjas went to great lengths to blend in.
They wanted to go unnoticed.
If you're a big guy, loaded with muscles and tattoos, and you routinely show off both, then it's no wonder you are being noticed ...
and maybe even judged unkindly.
What image do you truly want to portray? Do you want to show off your connection to the martial arts, or hide the fact? If you being picked on, what is the key detail that makes you appear so wimpy, or such easy pickings?
