Goal Setting For Your Business
Setting goals or objectives is essential not only in business but life in general, to remain were we are is not in the natural order of nature.
For everything to flourish and prosper it grows, so must you, otherwise you and your business will become stagnent and none productive.
Setting up a list of what you do want to achieve serves as a reminder of that you are in the process of reaching your goals, there is a process which I use to great success which enables me to know exactly what I want to achieve, this is the hardest part, knowing what is best for you and your business, in the following article I will show you how to put your goal list together and it will be tailor made for your own needs.
There are two methods which I use to determine what I should be aiming for, both work equally well.
Method 1 By writing down a list of what we do not want we can determine what we do want, this may sound confusing at first but let me explain.
You are in job that you really dislike for various reasons, here are the reasons: Low pay, long hours, too far to travel, not appreciated, no prospects.
From the above list we now know that we want a job with better pay, less working hours, closer to home, appreciated for my work, better promotion prospects.
Method 2 You own or work for a company, if that company was the best company in the world at what you do, what would be its outstanding attributes? Fantastic products, efficient customer service, friendly staff, cutting edge technology, huge profits etc, Two different methods but both producing a goal list for you to aspire to.
These methods not only work in business, they can be used in any areas of your life, including finance, relationships and health.
Once you have reached your goals, set new goals, move to one side, look to the horizon and go through exactly the same process, this will enable you to be constantly growing and achieving your objectives.
