    • Ford's 1994 E-150 midsize van was the baseline model in Ford's Econoline series ranging to the E-350 Super. The 1994 E-150 had five recalls for a faulty wiring harness, a missing driver's air bag advisory label, battery buddy short, seat and shoulder belt anchor design flaw and fire caused by overheating a neon transformer. The van was sold in three trim levels: base, XL, XLT and Chateau. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 1994 E-150 a four-star driver and three-star passenger impact safety rating.
