End System Processes

• 1). Right-click the taskbar anywhere in a blank space and select "Task Manager."
  
  
• 2). Click the "Processes" tab in the Task Manager's window.
  
  
• 3). Select "av2009.exe" from the list of the processes and then click "End Process" at the bottom of the window.
  
  
• 4). Select "Antivirus2009.exe" from the list of the processes and then click "End Process" at the bottom of the window.
  
  
• 5). Close the Task Manager.
  
  

Remove Registry Entries

• 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "regedit" in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter" to start the Registry Editor.
  
  
• 2). Browse to and delete the following registry entries:
  
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Antivirus
  
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Antivirus
  
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"Antivirus" = "%ProgramFiles%\Antivirus 2009\Antvrs.exe"
  
  
• 3). Close the Registry Editor.
  
  

Unregister DLL

• 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "cmd" in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter" to start the command line window.
  
  
• 2). Type "regsvr32 /u shlwapi.dll" in the command line window and press "Enter" to unregister the DLL file.
  
  
• 3). Type "regsvr32 /u wininet.dll" in the command line window and press "Enter" to unregister the DLL file.
  
  
• 4). Close the command line window.
  
  

Delete Files

• 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "Antivirus 2009.lnk" in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter." Delete all search results.
  
  
• 2). Repeat Step 1 for "av2009.exe," "Antivirus2009.exe" and "Uninstall Antivirus 2009.lnk."
  
  
• 3). Restart your computer.
