When All Else Fails ... Dance!
You don't always know how much time the games, meals and other activities will take at a kid's party. It's a good idea, then, to have some filler activities planned.
To fit the camping half of the party theme, we had set up a tent in our yard. The girls used it as a place to practice some dance moves, and then they came out and performed for the adults.
We kept a kid-friendly playlist running throughout the party knowing our music-loving daughter might want to get her groove on at one point or another.
