• Golfing is a major attraction in Arizona, which is the birthplace of desert-style golfing. Over 300 courses can be found across the state, both in deserts and northern areas. An activity that is fun for the whole family is a visit to one of the towns from the old western frontier can be visited, such as Tombstone, the old mining town. Visitors should be sure to check out the OK Corral, which features staged gunfights and old "wild west" style buildings.
