What Makes a Quality Freelance Writer?
When I talk to them about the problems they faced and why they were not happy, I notice a trend among most of them.
If you do not hire a quality freelance writer, it is likely you will have a poor experience.
First let's note that "quality" does not always equal "most expensive" and just because you pay a lot for a writer does not mean that you are going to get exactly what you're looking for.
A quality writer will discuss your needs with you and then help you create articles that relate to your niche and your personality.
A great ghostwriter will create articles from your point of view as if they were written in your very own voice.
Poor or inexperienced ghostwriters and freelance writers will not be able to deliver this same level of quality and the result is a bunch of articles that are poorly written, sound like they were written by someone else or even worse, sound as if they were written by multiple people.
You will lose credibility with your readers when you have poor articles or when it appears that your articles have been written by someone else.
Think of why you are hiring help in the first place? Is it because you don't have time to write the articles yourself or because you feel you lack the knowledge and experience to be able to do so correctly? If you're going to hire an expert, it's important to make sure you're getting a qualified expert.
Article mills, foreign ghostwriters and anyone who writes bulk content for $1-2 or less is not likely going to deliver the quality you want from a ghostwriter or freelance writer.
This is going to reflect in your articles.
A quality writer will create content that appears as if it were written by you or your company, but with the added touch of professionalism and experience that only a qualified, experienced freelance writer can deliver.
