Obesity is a serious problem that many people don't take seriously, let alone realize what it can lead too.
The world right now has a record high obesity rate than ever before recorded in history, and if you suffer from obesity personally and wish to change the situation you are in then you will be pleased to know that a simple lifestyle change can reap huge rewards for you.
Below I have listed  my personal 3 tips on how to combat obesity.
Analyze yourself right now! Find a mirror and have a look at the man or woman looking back at you.
Take your time with this, I suggest a good 10 to 15 minutes and state the facts mentally as well as verbally.
Facing and admitting to what you see is the first step that should be taken before any form of help or therapy can be undertaken.
Take not of measurements as well as weight, believe in yourself that everything you write down and see at this point will be your last.
Truly believe that this is the case, as having belief in yourself already puts you half way through your journey.
Its better to aim for the moon and miss, at least your in the stars and that little bit closer.
Imagination Imagine yourself doing all the bad habits you do or could imagine yourself doing on a daily basis.
Picture this visually in your head as if it were happening for real, then step back from this reality as if you were not in this visualization and realize how everything associated in this image turns to good habits and positive actions.
Asking yourself on a daily basis if your actions are leading to your goals, even if they are small steps can help you with this visualization process.
Start from scratch, you are building a new foundation.
Take time to realize the foundation you had built that led to the situation you are now in.
Take this all apart and reconstruct it completely.
This doesn't mean changing every little thing, it just means realizing and taking some form of action that leads to a new foundation that is strong and sturdy.
Ask yourself questions such as how much exercise you had done that day, what you could eat instead of that tempting chocolate bar and so forth.
By doing this and taking note of the actions you have taken to change bad habits you will boost your self confidence as well as be 1 step closer to accomplishing your goals.
Once you realize you are starting from scratch, and know where you want to be instead, it's just a case of getting rid of all your bad habits and replacing them with good habits.
Combine these simple steps with positive action and you will soon reach your goal.
  This I can guarantee.
