How to Get the Gym Leader in Sunyshore City to Come Out in "Pokemon Pearl"
- 1). Climb Mt. Coronet, and team up with your rival to defeat Commanders Mars and Jupiter.
- 2). Let your rival heal your Pokemon, and defeat Galactic Boss Cyrus.
- 3). Defeat or capture Palkia, and fly to Pastoria City.
- 4). Take the east exit, and head northeast to reach the Valor Lakefront.
- 5). Head north until you reach the Seven Stars Restaurant, and head east onto Route 222.
- 6). Continue to head east, and defeat the trainers to reach Sunyshore City.
- 7). Climb the stairs onto the pathway, head southeast and enter the Vista Lighthouse.
- 8). Take the elevator to the top floor, and talk to the man looking through the binoculars. He will introduce himself as Volkner and return to his gym to await your challenge.
