Ben Linus" Season 6 Island Stories
- Episode 6x1, LA X
Inside the foot statue, Ben asks Locke why Jacob hadn't fought back. Locke says that he must have known he was beaten. Locke sends Ben out to get Richard, but Richard doesn't want to go in and shows Ben Locke's dead body.
Ben doesn't want to go back into the statue, but Bram forces him. Inside, Bram tries to shoot Locke, but he disappears. Ben hides as the smoke monster comes and kills Bram and his men. The smoke monster leaves and Locke comes back and tells Ben, "I'm sorry you had to see me that way."

Ben watches Locke move the bodies around and asks what he is. Locke says, "I'm not a what, I'm a who." He tells Ben that Locke was very confused when Ben killed him and that he was the only one who wanted to stay on the island because he understood how pathetic his life was. - Episode 6x6, Sundown
At the Temple, Miles says that Sayid is at the pool and Ben goes to get him. He tells Sayid he knows a way out and there is still time, but Sayid says there is not time for him. Ben backs away. - Episode 6x7, Dr. Linus
Ben runs from the Temple and finds Ilana, Frank, Miles and Sun. Ilana gives Jacob's ashes to Miles and asks how he died. Miles says that Ben killed him and Ben denies it. They go to the beach where the old camp is and Ilana ties a cable to Ben's leg and makes him a dig his own grave.
Miles comes over to bring Ben food and Ben says he can still get him the 3.2 million if Miles cuts him loose, but Miles doesn't do it.
Man in Locke comes and tells Ben that he wants him to take care of the island after Man in Locke and all his people leave. Ben says he won't be able to get away from Ilana, but his leg is released from the cable. Man in Locke says that there is a gun in the jungle. He says that he'll be on the other island at the Hydra Station and he'll see Ben there.
Ben runs and Ilana chases him. He gets the gun and points it at her. She drops her gun and he says he wants to explain. He tells her that his daughter was killed right in front of him and it was his fault. He did it for the island, for Jacob, and Jacob didn't even care. He was afraid he was going to lose the one thing that really mattered, but he realized he'd already lost that when Alex was killed. He says he's going with Locke, and Ilana asks why. He says that Locke is the only one that will have him and Ilana says that she'll have him. He follows her back to the camp. Jack, Hurley, and Richard soon join them.

Ben sits at a campfire as Ilana says that Richard knows what they should do next. Richard says he's not listening to Jacob anymore, he's going to listen to someone else. Jack asks who that is and Ben says, "This should be interesting." Sun explains that it's Locke. Jack says that Locke is dead and Ben says, "It's not exactly Locke." - Episode 6x10, The Package
Ben asks Ilana what they are waiting for and Ilana says they are waiting for Richard. Ben wonders why and she says that he has the answers to what they should do next, and Hurley will bring him back.
Ben finds Sun passed out in the jungle and asks what happened to her, but doesn't understand what she is saying because she is speaking Korean.
Back at the camp, he tells Ilana that he was out getting mangoes when he found Sun and asks why she doesn't believe him. Ilana says, "Because you're speaking." - Episode 6x12, Everybody Loves Hugo
At the beach camp, Ilana returns with dynamite, but accidentally blows herself up. Ben asks what they will do next and Richard says they will get more dynamite. They head to the Black Rock to get more dynamite, but Hurley blows up the ship and all the dynamite that is inside.
Richard asks Ben if there are explosives at the Dharma Barracks and Ben says there is. Hurley says they need to go talk to Man in Locke and the group splits between who will go with Hurley and who will go with Richard. Ben chooses to go with Richard. - Episode 6x16, What They Died For
Ben takes Richard and Miles to his old house, so that they can get C4 to blow up the Ajira plane. They find Zoe there and when they ask who she is, Charles says, "She's with me." Ben is shocked to see Charles on the island and wants to know how he was able to be there. Charles says that Ben can't kill him if he wants to survive.
Charles sends Zoe out and she radios back that Locke is on the way. They decide to hide in Ben's secret room, but Ben says that he doesn't want to put off the inevitable and he's going outside to await his fate. He takes the walkie talkies from Charles and Zoe and gives one to Miles. Miles runs off into the jungle.
Richard says he wants to talk to Man in Locke, and he goes outside with Ben. The monster comes and grabs Richard and throws him into the jungle. Man in Locke walks out from behind a building and sits next to Ben. He says he needs Ben to kill some people and once he does, Man in Locke will leave and the island will be all Ben's. Ben tells Man in Locke where Charles is.
They go into Ben's secret room. Man in Locke tells Ben to wait inside, but Ben says he wants to watch. Inside, Man in Locke slits Zoe's throat and wants to know why Charles is there. Charles says he brought Desmond Hume back and won't say anything more in front of Ben.
Ben walks out, but then comes back as Charles is whispering to Man in Locke and shoots Charles three times. Then he asks Man in Locke who else they need to kill. - Episode 6x17, The End
Ben catches Sawyer watching he and Man in Locke at the well. Ben brings Sawyer over to Man in Locke and Man in Locke admits that he wants Desmond to destroy the island. Ben is hurt and Man in Locke says Ben can come with him on his boat. Sawyer hits Ben, takes his gun, and walks away.
Ben follows Man in Locke to Rose and Bernard's camp, where they get Desmond. As the three of them walk through the jungle, Ben's walkie talkie makes noise. He acts like he didn't hear anything and turns it off.
They come across Sawyer, Hurley, Kate, and Jack. Kate takes Sawyer's gun and starts shooting at Man in Locke, and Ben dives to the ground. Then they all go together to the light cave. At the bamboo forest, Man in Locke says that only he, Desmond, and Jack are going and the rest need to stay there.
Miles calls on the walkie talkie and says that they are getting on the Ajira plane and for Ben and everyone to get over to Hydra Island quickly. When the earth starts shaking, Ben pushes Hurley out of the way of a falling tree and gets trapped beneath it. They get him out and go to the cliffs, where Ben knows that Man in Locke is keeping the sailboat.
They get to the cliffs shortly after Kate, who had just shot Man in Locke, and Jack kicked him over the ledge. Jack says that he has to go back and fix the light and for the rest of them to get to the plane. Ben says that if the island sinks, he's going down with it, so he and Hurley go with Jack back to the cave.
Jack says he's going down to the light by himself. He says that Hurley is supposed to be the new protector. Ben gives Jack a bottle to put water in for Hurley to drink.
Hurley and Ben hold the rope while Jack goes down. The light comes back on and they pull up the rope, only to find Desmond at the end of it. Hurley is really upset and Ben tells him that he will be a good leader and the first thing he can do is get Desmond home. He points out that Hurley's rules do not have to be the same as Jacob's rules.
Hurley asks if Ben will help him protect the island and Ben is deeply touched and says he'd be honored. - Season 6 DVD/Blu-ray Bonus, The New Man in Charge
Hurley sends Ben to close down the Dharma stations off the island. Ben gets Walt from the mental institution and Hurley tells Walt that he has a job for him and they go back to the island.
