eBay: What Can I Sell to Make Some Extra Money? Here"s a Great Tip to Help You to Make Money on eBay

Firstly lets all be honest with ourselves selling on eBay can be tough at times, if you want to specialize in selling sunglasses (and a lot of people do) then things can get a bit difficult around about November (a nice way to put it?).
But we are all adults (or at least you should be to list on eBay) so I guess that you just have to expect some things don't you? A back up plan is always good.
If you want to sell sunglasses then maybe a good back up plan could be to sell Christmas decorations? But then of course when the sunglasses and the Christmas is over you still have about three quarters of the year left...
still then there's always Easter right? And on and on it goes...
all of these are good, but they all fall in to the 'Trend' category.
Which is great but is there a category that works all the year round? Well the answer to that is a very definite 'yes' and we are going to briefly talk about one of them now.
  • This category comes under what can loosely be described as 'Evergreen' because it existed years ago and it will still exist in years to come.
  • Plus the other main advantage of it is this, you don't need a supplier because you can get suppliers anywhere in the world (well almost)...
    and just one other thing...
The profits are very, very good! So are you getting excited? Good because I am...
and I know what's coming next!...
So here goes...
Here it is.
Books
Yes you read it correctly, but I'll say it again, Books.
Do you know that it never fails to amaze me that most booksellers do not know the value of some of the books that they sell?
  1. I am not talking now about the books that you buy in Barnes and Nobles or that sort of book shop but a book shop that deals in secondhand, or 'used to put it more politely, books.
  2. Just recently I went in to a used book store in San Francisco and picked out a few books and at the checkout (obviously run by the owner) I asked him if he ever researched the value of his books on eBay before he puts a price on them, and he said that he does.
  3. Well I had spent about $100 in his shop and within two weeks that $100 had turned into over $250.
    And it was easy.
I tell that story not to boast because this is such common practice that it is amazing that book shops and thrift stores do not pay more attention to the value of the goods that they sell.
Easy come - easy go, I guess? If you know anywhere where you can even get 5% interest on your money in a year you'll be lucky? So what could you possibly turn $100 into in a year? You do the sums...
Good luck and good hunting,
