Can You Install Norton Goback With Norton 360?
- Norton GoBack recovers both deleted and modified files on your system. This feature is handy if you recently deleted an entire directory and it was the wrong directory, or if you installed a new software package and it made to changes to a set of files related to another program. The program is also equipped with a password protection option so only you have access to restore your system to a previous state.
- The program also lets you return your system to a previous state after Norton 360 or another program detects a virus attack and you notice changes to your computer's files after the virus is removed. Norton GoBack also restores your system after a system crash has occurred and when a Windows and/or user error occurs. The program also restores email settings within a Microsoft Outlook Personal Storage Table (PST) file.
- Install Norton GoBack after Norton 360 is installed. Insert the program's CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive and follow the on-screen prompts once the program's installation wizard begins. Once installed, Norton GoBack will be one of the startup applications on your computer.
- When a problem occurs or you want to restore your system, press the space bar on your computer's keyboard as your system is starting up. A dialog box will appear listing restore points. Click on the date of the restore point you want to go back to. Norton GoBack will start the restore function and prompt you when the process is complete.
