How to Make a Creative Monkey Mask
- 1). Turn a dinner plate upside down on a sheet of red craft foam. Use a pencil to trace a large circle.
- 2). Draw a pair of monkey ears on a sheet of orange craft foam. On the same sheet of craft foam, draw a short, wide, circular shape. This is the muzzle of the monkey mask; it should be approximately half of the height of the circle you traced in Step 1, and slightly wider on each side.
- 3). Use a pair of scissors to cut the monkey face, ears and muzzle out of the sheets of craft foam. Use foam glue to attach the cut-out muzzle to the bottom half of the monkey face.
- 4). Use foam glue to attach the cut-out ears to the back of the monkey mask, so that they are sticking out on each side. Use a black marker to add details to the monkey ears and muzzle, such as a mouth and nostrils.
- 5). Punch a hole in the middle of the left and right sides of the monkey mask. Use sharp scissors to cut out eye holes in the appropriate places.
- 6). Tie a length of yarn to each hole you punched in Step 5. These can be used to attach the foam monkey mask to the face of the wearer.
